Springless Valve System

Description

In 2005 was produced and tested a new type of valve system which was installed on an ordinary four cylinder engine. The valve system covered the needed theoretical indices:

  • Our system decreased the power need for rotating the valve system taken from the engine approximately 13.5 times. This means that if we use 100 l of fuel for rotating the ordinary valve system with our system we will use only 7,4 l (see the chart below). This economy of fuel increases with the increasing of the revolutions of the engine in geometrical progression (normally the engine operates at 2500-3000 rpm). In other words this reduces the fuel consumption with 5 to 8 % depending on the type of the engine.
  • There is no problem in increasing the stroke of the valves, which is another disadvantage of the ordinary valve system.
  • Increased durability and life of the system's mechanism, as a result from the removing of the springs, yet another major disadvantage of the ordinary valve system.
  • The valves don’t have to be adjusted or fixed with the time being used, which is saving expenses to the owner of the automobile.
